Frequently Asked Questions
-
It depends on the service. However, anywhere from 6-12 months is highly suggested. The sooner a wedding coordinator is involved the more likely no steps will be missed and running around last minute!
-
Absolutely not! We understand the importance of meeting with someone, especially face to face to make sure you can work together and vibe. So, let us take you out to coffee and meet with you to see how we can be a part of your day!
-
A first consultation will help us understand how much work you have already done and what the main things you need the most help with. We will look over your overall budget and figure out which service would be suit you. We don’t try to up sale you to pay more than what you truly need. That’s why first consultations are so important so we can really understand and establish how little or how much assistance you actually need versus what you think you need!
-
Once we have a first consultation and create a vision board, we will then steer you in an art direction of which vendors to choose from. During the initial vision board meeting, we will understand your budget and put into account of what is the most important to you so we can categorize which vendors to recommend for you.

Since our home is in The Butchertown Pointe, we have experience in running a venue as a coordinator, as well as coordinating weddings as a planner. While some things overlap, the venue coordinator and the wedding coordinator are two different things. The venue coordinator will be the one to help create a floor plan and layout for you. Most of the time you will meet with them 90 days out and go over sequence of events and the timeline, but they aren't creating that timeline for you. A venue coordinator will also oversee setup the day of. In contrary to the venue coordinator, a wedding coordinator will be the one to create the master itinerary to discuss with the venue coordinator. Also, the wedding coordinator will contact all of your vendors to discuss set up time, duration of set up and pick up time, if applicable. Finally, the wedding coordinator will be the first to arrive and the last to leave.
-
Yes they do. However, both the DJ and Photographer will make timelines devoted to the information they need. For the DJ, their timeline will include ceremony and reception times, introductory to reception, first dances and any other traditional moments for the reception. The Photographer will create a timeline specifically around the pictures they are taking for the day. First look, Wedding Party, Family with Bride & Groom, etc. The wedding coordinator will take both of those timelines to create a master one that would also include all vendor set up times, makeup/hair time and schedule, ceremony processional and all other events for the entire day. The wedding coordinator will revise the DJ and Photographer timeline so that all vendors are on the same page and organized to make a seamless schedule for the day.

Of course not, this is YOUR time to shine! Think of the wedding coordinator as not the one in control, but as the one guiding everyone along the way. We create a partnership working together instead of hiring us as your "wedding boss". No decision will be determined until you have the final word. You will be involved with every single process. It's your vision we are bringing to life. We are just guiding you along the way with our professional knowledge of the industry.

As much as you need! Each service has its predetermined amount of times to meet for in person and vendor meetings. This is just to make sure we are equally giving our time to every bride we have. However, we are always available via phone and email to answer any and all questions or concerns you may have. We know how overwhelming of a process planning a wedding can be and we truly are here for you every step of the way.
